Josh Walsh,husband to his wife Crystal, Father to his daughter Layla, and son Dillon, is the voice of DAYSPRING!!  He is a true leader who was born to play music.  He started at an early age not only with a talent, but a "gift".  Growing up he was influenced by rock n roll greats such as, Led Zeppelin,  Lynard Skynard and the Beatles.  He developed his skills quickly, and was playing solo's not long after picking up the guitar.  A true inspiration Josh is a well seasoned drummer, guitarist, bassist, vocalist, and pianist.  He pretty much can play anything that is put into his hands.  Furthermore,  Josh is a songwriter.  Having written hundreds of songs, he has a gift with words like no other.  Writing, and composing has become his focal point; to create another level of music that has never been heard before.  On the stage J.W.'s presence is known.  He carries a confidence and love for God that can be seen.  "It's all God, he gets all the glory" says Josh.  Always living, and proclaiming Jesus Christ to the world;  That is who Josh Walsh is.

Josh also plays a 4-string Ibanez Soundgear through a 1970's Kustom stack when he is playing bass guitar.

Daniel Patrick Swords II.  (AKA:  Dan the Man)  Husband to newly wed wife Becky;   Is an ispirational presence in DAYSPRINGS' mission.  He is the very epitome of what a representative of Jesus should be.  One would be hard pressed to find a more faithful friend and bandmate.  Dan is a musical virtuoso;  playing drums, guitar, bass, and singing.  He has been active in churches his whole life and sharing his gifts for God.  His heart is to serve the Lord in every part of his life;  following the leading of Christ, and seeking his will.  When it comes to DAYSPRINGS' mission,  Dan is on top of it;  devoting much time to booking, promoting, and getting the word out about the band.  He believes that DAYSPRING is going to be bigger than we can imagine; starting fires, and changing lives by the "Message" they bring.  "Jesus gets all the praise, and we desire to be a light to shine for his glory."

Daniel plays:  Black Pearl Export Series drums on the road w/ zildjian and sabian cymbals.  He uses a DW 7000 Double bass pedal and prefers nylon tip sticks.  Remo Pinstripes on the heads and the Evans emad EQ on the Kick.  In the studio he plays his Silver Metalflake Pearl Prestige Session Select (1999 model).

     Corey Ackerman, husband to wife Missy, and Father to daughters Kylee, Becka and son Elijah;  is the soul of DAYSPRING.  His virtuoso guitar playing can only be described as raw, passionate, heavy, soulful, and original.  He is a cornerstone that has an unmatched, and unique stage presence.  Corey plays like a "caveman" , as we sometimes say.  He is an awesome musician to watch and is truly inspiring.  The "riffmaster" is always coming up with the coolest licks on the spot.  Starting out on bass guitar, Corey knows all about rythm, he has only been playing guitar a handful of years now and during that time he has become force to be reckoned with.  With influences ranging from Lynard Skynard to Metallica, the diversity is there too.  Not only a great guitarist, Corey is a genuine man who follows God and desires to worship him through the music he creates.  He is a model Father and husband who has given God credit for all of his blessings.

Matt Stewart is the newest addition to DAYSPRING'S arsenal. Well versed in guit picking and singing/songwriting, Matt has taken on the task of bass player for the band. He is a tremendous talent with a great ear for slamming riffs and driving bass lines. Though the tender age of only 17 he has a spiritual maturity that is beyond his years. His love for God and enthusiasm for DAYSPRING'S mission show in his life on and off the stage. He is an active member of Beaverdam Baptist Church being, the worship leader for their youth band (Skyline). DAYSPRING is excited to have Matthew playing with them and look forward to the many shows and projects that lie ahead in the future.
